United Judo visit Saint Clément France 2024
For our annual international trip this year, the first since the COVID lockdown, United Judo traveled to Saint Clément, France. This trip was a huge success, as usual, and we took over 50 people to experience some top-class judo and amazing hospitality from Judo Club Clémentin.

A weekend to remember
Making it a weekend to remember, United Judo supported over 50 of its members to travel across the channel for a weekend full of immense training and coaching. The trip wasn’t closed to only our club as visiting clubs came with us from Relentless and Sittingbourne Judo Club. Judo Club Clémentin on arrival went above and beyond to make our judoka feel welcome and get stuck into practice with a 2-hour session, followed by refreshments and social.

The party of a lifetime
Following the lead of our head coach blue suede shoes, our members enjoyed the party Judo Club Clémentin threw for us too. Serving their very own champagne cocktail and homemade Piella, they looked after us from beginning to end. Their club president William also made his debut as resident DJ, offering bangers from ABBA through to Candy (Cameo).

The venue was fantastic with a sprung mat space, changing room facilities and more. The club hosts over 350 members and is the biggest club in the region with national champions and Kata superstars too. If you’d like to know more about the club see their website here.
