United Judo Competition Summer 2025
United Judo is set to host an exciting and inclusive inter-club novice competition this July, welcoming young judo players aged 4 to 14. Aimed at those with white, red, yellow or orange belts, the event offers a friendly and supportive environment for beginners to develop their skills, build confidence, and enjoy the sport.
With medals for all participants, free entry for spectators, and a strong focus on community spirit, it’s a fantastic opportunity for families to get involved and cheer on their budding judoka.

The rules and notices for this event are listed below:
- This is a small, friendly club activity
- Officials and referees may be junior volunteers but will be overseen by experienced staff
- Weight groups may be combined on the day if necessary
- All will receive a medal
- Under 12 rules will apply
- No drop-knee shoulder throws or sacrificial throws
- Boys and girls may be matched depending on numbers
- Strict player limit in place
